As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Drs. Van Heukelom, Westlund and Sarasin manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. They practice a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from anesthesia, corrective Jaw Surgery, extraction of teeth, removal of impacted teeth, exposure and bonding impacted teeth to aid eruption, to bone grafting and implant reconstruction. Surgical Staff The surgical staff at Cedar Rapids Oral Surgery are experienced oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in the administration of anesthesia and surgery. They are certified in dental radiology, and are trained in basic and advanced life support. Office Staff Our office staff are experienced scheduling professionals.
